Little Jars

Holidays, car insurance, the vet, next summer's trip. None of them are surprises, and they still land like one when the bill shows up and the money isn't there.

Little Jars gives every one of those expenses its own jar. Add what it costs and when it's due, and the app works out what to set aside from each paycheck, using your real pay schedule: weekly, every two weeks, twice a month or monthly. Each payday gets a short to-do list, "$54 to Holidays, $43.34 to Car Insurance", and one tap logs each deposit as moved.

When the time comes, spend it. Mark a jar as used and a repeating fund rolls into its next cycle, with any leftover giving the next round a head start. The year-ahead view lays out every due date for the next 12 months, so the expensive months are visible long before they arrive.

No bank connection, no account. Everything stays in your own browser, with a backup file you can download and restore. Install it to your Home Screen and it works offline. Light and dark, desktop and phone, same features either way.
