L3R Digital Studio is a small family studio that builds practical digital tools for people and small businesses.
We started with a simple goal: make everyday life and work a little easier. Too often the tools out there are overcomplicated, or a spreadsheet has grown too unwieldy to manage, or the right solution doesn't exist yet.
Rather than asking you to change how you work to fit the software, we build software that fits how you work.
Luis, Liezyl and Luke
L3R is the three of us: Luis, Liezyl and our son, Luke.
We started the studio after Luke arrived, to put what we each do best in one place. Luis builds the bigger projects. Liezyl is the brain behind the finance apps.
Our first apps started as things we needed at home, but we don't stop at ourselves. We build for friends with the same problems too, and your feedback and suggestions shape what we make next.

The brain behind the finance apps. By day, Financial Analyst at a bank. Started out freelancing on Upwork, with a 100% success rate. Management Accounting degree.

Custom web apps, spreadsheets and automation for small businesses. They're built around how your team already works, so you don't have to reorganize everything around new software.
Data Analytics
Cleaning up messy data, building reports and turning numbers into answers you can act on, without needing a data team.
Some of what we build becomes a product anyone can use. Some is made for one business and its specific needs. We approach both the same way.

- Most of what we build began as something we ran into ourselves. If it doesn't solve an actual problem, we don't build it.

- No feature bloat and no learning curve for its own sake. You should understand a tool within a few minutes of opening it.

- No ads and no reselling your data. You pay for the tool, and that is the whole business model.

- We test our tools in everyday use and keep refining them based on what people tell us.

I absolutely love them!! I have never seen anything like the Paycheck planner breakdown and it is GENIUS - and has helped so much so far. I honestly don’t see how it could be any better haha! Your question about having a button that would send debt payments from the planner to the tracker would also be genius, that’d be so great! Honestly, keep up the amazing work!

I'm absolutely obsessed with both purchases from this shop. The apps are truly amazing and yet so simple and modern and has everything I could need. I LOVE the paycheck breakdown of the bills. I hope they come out with more just like this that covers savings, sinking funds, retirement type stuff. Definitely recommend!
